String of Pearls is a trio of seasoned local musicians who combine harmonic vocals with solid instrumentals, creating their own sound that is accessible to audiences of all ages. Over the past twenty-five years, band members have played with such popular groups as the Beale St. Blues Band, Joey T and the Formula and Pay Dirt.

Dave Santa Maria handles guitar and bass as well as vocals. He’s well known for his enthusiastic and humorous performances. Nancy Drum, on guitar, banjo, mandolin and vocals, began playing in local clubs at age fourteen. With her powerful vocals, Nancy has been compared to Bonnie Raitt and Patsy Cline. Jerry Curry, who has earned a solid reputation since the late 80’s playing with top local bands, contributes guitar, harmonica, slide guitar and vocals to the group.
