New England fiddler and folk singer, Lissa Schneckenburger, cut her teeth as a musician at a very young age. A graduate of The New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, Lisa has since played all over the world as a fiddler and vocalist, including appearances in Russia, Holland, Belgium, Canada, and of course, the U.S.; opening for artists such as Alasdair Fraser, Skyedance and Judy Collins. Lissa’s music is a rich mix of traditional and original material. Releases include Different Game, Mad Hatter, Phantom Power and more recently Song (2008) and Dance (2010)… Boston guitarist Bethany Waickman formed the contra dance band, Anadama in 2007, much to the delight of dancers throughout the northeast. She has been touring with Lissa since 2008…. The Celtic duo of Matt & Shannon Heaton has been performing together in various guises for over a decade. Comprised of guitarist/singer Matt and Irish flute player/singer Shannon, the two have focused on their favorite aspects of both Irish and American traditions, resulting in concerts that feature new songs that sound traditional alongside centuries-old ballads performed with fresh new melodies.
