George Thorogood & the Destroyers have been hammering out their distinctive style of blues rock for some 30 years, and are still wowing audiences today. The Destroyers are perhaps best known for the song that has become their anthem, “Bad to the Bone.” After numerous albums, millions of records sold and 1,200 plus concerts, Thorogood continues to stick to his authentic rock stance. His most recent release, is The Dirty Dozen… Blues singer/guitarist Robert Cray is a modern day journeyman whose approach to making music has remained consistent through the 20 albums he’s released since forming the band in 1973. Highlights of the Robert Cray Band’s outstanding musical career include Grammy-winning albums like Strong Persuader, which garnered the popular single, “Smoking Gun;” as well as Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark, which was another Grammy-winning effort. His latest release is This Time… For the past 30 years, the Fabulous Thunderbirds have found success with their distinctive and powerful sound, influenced by a diversity of musical styles including blues, R&B and rock. Co-founder Kim Wilson, the sole original member, still spearheads the group. Hit singles include “Tough Enough,” “Wrap It Up” and “Look At That.”
